Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are not the only ones bonding and sharing heartwarming moments during this postseason. After the duo won Game 4, the pair’s fathers shared a hug after the game. The moment brought a smile to Irving’s face as he gave them a unique nickname.

Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic took their team to a crucial victory which generated a touching reaction from their parents. Irving reacted to the moment in honor of Father’s Day and gave a title to the pairing.

Irving was referring to Pixar’s characters from The Incredibles to compare the dads’ friendship and bond. The star also acknowledged the pair’s sacrifice for their respective sons’ success. Irving also took the opportunity to wish both the dads a happy Father’s Day.

Being a part of a superhero duo himself, the Batman-Robin did their jobs perfectly to avoid a sweep from the finals. The dads could not help but be relieved for their sons’ combined 50-point partnership to embarrass the Celtics.

Luka Doncic also cracked a smile at his and Kyrie Irving’s ‘proud’ dads

After his incredible dominant performance in Game 4, Doncic is getting ready for the fifth game. The Mavericks are back at the TD Garden as Doncic talked to the media ahead of the game. On the occasion of Father’s Day, Doncic was asked about his first Father’s Day.

The Slovenian who recently became a father called the event the ‘best thing in life’. Further, as the reporter mentioned his dad and Irving’s dad’s embrace, Doncic cracked a smile and talked about the wholesome moment.

Doncic and Irving have shared a close bond on and off the court during this season which has been extremely beneficial for the team. Their balanced performances have more likely resulted in wins for the Mavericks. The incredible backcourt will certainly try to perform at a high level in Game 5.
