LA LIGA: Elche vs FC Barcelona player ratings as Barca wins with 2 goals

Elche vs FC Barcelona: Elche faced Barcelona in Matchday 27 of LaLiga at the Manuel Martinez Valero Stadium.

Elche got the lead against the run of play at the closing stages of the first half. Barca came back with a goal through Ferran Torres. Memphis gave Barca the lead from the spot at the 84th minute. Barca gets a hard-earned win against Elche. 2-1 for the Cules.

Edgar Badia (7.9/10):  Made a good save coming off the line to deny Dembele’s shot on target in the first half. Denied Barca many times single-handedly. A great display from him.

Antonio Barragan (6.0/10):  The fullback made a few good interceptions. Committed some fouls. Gave away a bad penalty. Carded in the second half.

Enzo Roco (6.9/10):  The center back was solid. Made many timely clearances for his team.

Diego Gonzalez (7.0/10): Made an incredible goal-line save to deny Barca at the 26th minute. Some good clearances by him.

Johan Mojica (6.9/10):  Made many good tackles and interceptions. Dealt well with Dembele’s threat.

Tete Monte (6.0/10): A quiet night for him. Passing was not up to the mark. Gave away the ball a number of times.

Omar Mascarell (6.2/10): Showed an immense work rate. Helped his team a lot defensively after getting the lead in the game.

Raul Guti (6.3/10):  Very good physical presence. The shooting could have been better. Won the ball many times.

Fidel (7.2/10): Was the best man on the pitch for his team in the first 45 minutes. Got the first goal for his team.

Lucas Boye (6.5/10): Created some good chances. Could not complete his dribbles successfully. Subbed off in the second half.

Jordi Alba (7.9/10): Attacking great as always. Had some key passes to his name. Got the assist for his team’s first goal. Not many crosses into the box from him.

Gerrard Pique (7.1/10):  The veteran had a lot of touches in the first half. Provided good long balls from the back. Looked solid most of the time.

Ronald Araujo (7.0/10): Incredible anticipation. Made some incredible tackles in the box. Carded in the beginning of the second half.

Dani Alves (6.8/10):  Good on the ball. Off-the-ball movement could have been better. Was beaten easily at times.

Sergio Busquets (8.0/10): The midfielder was good on the ball as always. Was very good going into ground duels. Showed some good vision with his through balls.

Gavi (6.1/10):  Did not do anything notable. Was below average. Subbed off at halftime.

Frenkie de Jong (6.4/10):  Covered a lot of ground. Missed a glorious chance at the 26th minute. Should have got himself on the scoresheet in the first half.

Ousmane Dembele (6.7/10): Was taking on players. Crosses were very inaccurate. Gave away the ball a number of times.

Aubameyang (7.0/10): Was active in creating attacks for his team. Could not meet the crosses from the wings. Subbed off at the last quarter of the game.

Pedri (6.8/10): Was very average in the first half. Has to take the major blame for Elche’s first goal. Improved in the second half.
