Lacoste has finally revealed the new look of its logo after Novak Djokovic‘s Olympic gold medal win in Paris last week. The Serb defeated Carlos Alcaraz in two tiebreak sets to claim his first Olympic gold medal and his second Olympic medal overall.

Considering the significance of the achievement, Lacoste made an adjustment and has now unveiled it. In their latest design, they have depicted their iconic crocodile with a gold medal.

Lacoste has had several interactions with Djokovic recently. Not long ago, they made a significant blunder by leaking the Serb’s outfit for a potential 25th Grand Slam title. However, the leak was retracted, and the company issued an apology.

Djokovic, however, hopes he won’t have to wait long for his 25th Grand Slam title. His next scheduled tournament is the US Open, where he is the defending champion.

What does Jannik Sinner losing mean to Novak Djokovic’s World No.1 chances?

The battle for the World No.1 heats up in the second half of the season, becoming a three-way contest between Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, and Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner, the current World No.1, crashed out of the National Bank Open after losing to Andrey Rublev.

Despite this loss, Sinner maintains his hold at the top with 8,770 points. However, Djokovic is close behind with 8,460 points, and Alcaraz is sitting at 7,950. The good news for Sinner is that the Serb has pulled out of Cincinnati, where he was the defending champion. Hence, Djokovic will be losing ground in his bid to regain the World No.1 ranking.

However, Sinner’s recurring hip problems in 2024 have raised concerns. After Djokovic, Sinner has the most points to defend in the second half of the season. He will be defending titles in China, Vienna, and the Davis Cup. Additionally, he reached the finals of the ATP World Tour Finals.

At this point, Alcaraz is the favorite to leapfrog both Djokovic and Sinner to reclaim the World No.1 spot. He has the least points to defend in the second half of the season. In 2023, he didn’t win another trophy after securing his first Wimbledon title.
