(Leaked Audio) Kyrie Irving gets disrespected by Jarred Vanderbilt over altercation
NBA stars Kyrie Irving and Jarred Vanderbilt have a go at each other during the heated matchup between the Lakers and the Mavs.

Kyrie Irving
The Los Angeles Lakers vs the Dallas Mavericks had a lot of action-packed drama at the Crypto.com Arena. With the main focus centered around the newest Laker, Luka Doncic‘s revenge matchup against his former side. However, a few other stars like Mavs’ Kyrie Irving and Doncic’s newest teammate Jarred Vanderbilt made a few headlines for themselves.
Anthony Davis intervened to diffuse a heated argument between Kyrie Irving and Jarred Vanderbilt, later joined in by PJ Washington. Their conversations were dubbed by the famous Twitter account LegendZ. As per LegendZ, Kyrie Irving initiated that trash-talk, stating, “Don’t touch me” to which Jarred Vanderbilt replied, “What? Irving again said, “Don’t touch me” Vanderbilt’s response: “Or what? F*ck out of here”

Interestingly, former Laker and newest Mavericks star, Anthony Davis chimed in between his current and former teammates to settle things. It’s nice to see that there is still a lot of affection there.
From 2023 to 2025, Davis and Vanderbilt were teammates on the Lakers, and they seemed to have grown closer over time. Recently, Davis had even pulled a practical joke on Vanderbilt in the debut of his show, Foul Play.
Shortly after this episode was filmed, the two had to split ways, but they later had a good laugh together. On February 2, the Lakers shockingly sent Davis to the Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic. However, Davis is out injured and is hoping to return to action for the Mavs before the end of this season.
Luka Doncic cleared the air on his bond with Kyrie Irving after their win against Mavericks
The Lakers defeated the Mavericks 107-99 on Tuesday night after Luka Doncic logged his first triple-double in LA. One of the game’s major plot points was Doncic facing his former teammate Kyrie Irving. However, Doncic has always been highly vocal about the bond he shares with Irving on and off the court. He reminded everyone once again of their bond.
Kai is my hermano. We go way beyond basketball… It was good to see those guys… We went to wars together. It was really fun to see them all.

The fact that Irving and Doncic had developed a relationship that helped the Mavs go to the 2024 NBA Finals contributed to the trade’s surprising nature. The famous pair played together for a portion of their seasons. Unfortunately, the two have been separated and have to carry on with their respective roles in the league, because the NBA is just a business after all.
