Anthony Edwards and Devin Booker

Anthony Edwards has generated quite a buzz this season. With his performance in the playoffs, he has caught the attention of the basketball community.

During last night’s clean sweep win against the Phoenix Suns, he was seen trash-talking Suns’ Devin Booker. Now details of the conversation have been revealed.

Devin Booker was stopped from clocking 50 points emphatically by Anthony Edwards, and Ant-Man, at that point, was full of energy, and he then began muttering expletives on the court. However, he didn’t end it there; he continued with the ginger as he entered the tunnel.

Edwards’ passion was displayed throughout the game, showing how vital he has become to the franchise. He wouldn’t fail to let rivals know who the boss was through his performance and the mental mind games, such as when he trash-talked his mentor, Kevin Durant, during Game three of the contest.

However, interestingly, Booker had a game-high 49 points, which still wasn’t enough to stop Edwards, who also had a 40-point performance. Their duel further showcased how competitive and entertaining the Western Conference is.

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves’ worth to be tested by the Denver Nuggets

While Anthony Edwards was done celebrating and taunting his slain opponents, the Phoenix Suns, he must have stayed up to catch up with the game against his most likely next opponent.

And with Jamal Murray sealing the win with the last point of the night, lots of emotions must have been running through his mind, a semifinal bout against the defending champions.

The Timberwolves would face off against the Denver Nuggets in what promises to be action-packed. However, the Wolves might see an opportunity due to the Nuggets not hitting top form yet and with the form of their star 2020 number-one overall draft pick, who has averaged 31.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game in the playoffs.

The Denver Nuggets have a home-court advantage, so they kick off the game series at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, five days from now. An epic battle between Nikola Jokic and Anthony Edwards is on the cards.
