“Lebron got special treatment which Irving did not” Brendan Haywood
Brendan Haywood and Lebron James with Kyrie Irving

Former Cleveland Cavaliers’ teammate Brendan Haywood reveals why Kyrie Irving does not like Lebron James. The former suggests back in the earlier days when Irving and Lebron played for Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron James got special treatment which was only restricted to him and not Kyrie Irving. When Lebron left Miami Heat to come back to the Cavs, he saw the missing stone that could help him end the city’s 52-year championship drought, which was Irving.

After their historic triumph against the Golden State Warriors in 2016, it was always rumoured that the magical duo of Cleveland does not get along well. It seems like, Irving in particular still holds some kind of resentment towards James. Time and again fanatics have seen him taking subtle shots at the King.

Haywood reveals why Irving started disliking Lebron

Former Cleveland Cavaliers Brendan Haywood gave another interesting insight about their relationship while in conversation with Ryan Hollins on Instagram Live. “Kyrie Irving saw LeBron James get ‘special treatment’ that he never got during Cavaliers days,” he stated.

“Randy Mims gets to fly on the team plane; this is Bron’s best friend?”

After this we could only hope that Lebron would comment on this. But the two concerned have also said good things about one another. The question still remains will this unsaid beef between the two ever end? Or will we be keeping up with their jabs for more years to come?

Talking about Kyrie Irving ahead of the upcoming season, he would be pairing up with Kevin Durant for the first time since the both have been acquired by the Nets. So the hype to him play along Durant has broken all charts, it however remains to be seen how they perform together.

Whereas as far as Lebron James is concerned, the defending champions have been the winners of this off-season. LA Lakers have built a strong team that could support Anthony Davis and Lebron James. They had to let go of some their veteran like Rondon and Howard. But have held on to their young stars. It remains to be seen how these two perform in the 2020-21 season with their respective franchises.
