With the Warriors allegedly pursuing LeBron James and Anthony Davis to form a Big 4 including Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, the entire league has been thrown into chaos.

Naturally, such a move would force other teams to change their tactics. From the moves made in this free agency, it is clear that teams are building their rosters to battle against the likes of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the San Antonio Spurs, and the New York Knicks.

For starters, the franchise will need to offload Jimmy Butler‘s contract, and the only way to do that is to send him to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Davis.

But that will not be enough. Then, when Green decided to decline his $27.7 million player option for next season, everyone realized what was happening.

These moves will take some time, and fans are bracing for any and every update that goes their way. But when Brian Windhorst thought about it, he felt the intended goal was something else.

I’m not saying I know, but part of this could be creating leverage for AD and LeBron in both Washington and LA, and then everybody gets paid on a contract.

Brian Windhorst said on The Rich Eisen Show

The longtime writer acknowledged the Warriors rumors. Or, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Draymond Green, who share Rich Paul as their agent, are taking a leaf out of Austin Reaves‘ playbook and using a potential suitor to force their respective teams to pay the maximum amount of money.

Kendrick Perkins believes LeBron James’ happiness could see Stephen Curry reunion

Brian Windhorst might have a point that this could be nothing but a leverage play. After all, all three of Rich Paul’s clients are seeking new contracts.

Other than that part, when it comes to sheer basketball sense, the thought of LeBron James and Stephen Curry playing together left Kendrick Perkins excited.

The last time we saw LeBron James happy was when he won the gold medal playing alongside Steph Curry. We know that James has come out publicly and said he wants to play with Steph Curry… Steph and LeBron is magic. Steph and LeBron move the needle… I love this idea.

Kendrick Perkins said

The ESPN analyst made it clear to his NBA Today colleagues that the two four-time champions sharing the ball at the Paris Olympics was peak basketball.

There is no doubt that the four-time league MVP would want to rekindle that. If this Warriors’ dream does come true, Perkins believes the league and its fans will go into overdrive at the mere thought of James and Curry uniting.

LeBron James is busy chilling in Cleveland, Ohio

While social media crashes and burns on every update regarding LeBron James’ possible move to the Golden State Warriors, the superstar is not bemused and is busy chilling.

The 41-year-old posted a video on his Instagram page showing him driving around Cleveland, Ohio, in his SUV. He captioned the video with this:

Enjoying a nice cruise thru my city.

LeBron James wrote

The father of three knows that there is nothing he can do about any of the gossip. He is also aware that everything he is posting about his time in Cleveland will be used as potential fuel for rumors about his return to the Cavaliers.

Either way, he is not concerned and is loving every bit where the four-time league MVP is the center of attention, but without having to do anything and still be at the top of everyone’s mind.
