Enes Kanter calls out LeBron James as the media dictator

LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. The NBA greats debate is a never-ending discussion, and some call James the ‘King’ of the NBA. Many have accused James of using his influence to get what he wants. Former Celtics star Enes Kanter remains among the few present or former NBA players to call James out.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ decision to draft Bronny James became a talking point in media circles. Even the hiring of JJ Redick was speculated to be LeBron James’ call. Even TV analysts like Nick Wright, Shannon Sharpe, and others get accused of being plants for LeBron James and the Klutch Sports Group. As such, Kanter recently characterized ‘King James’ as a dictator.

No other player wants to go play with LeBron… When I see a dictator, I know it – LeBron is literally like the dictator of the NBA. He controls the media, he controls his narrative, if you go against his agenda, you get traded, everybody knows it.

Many NBA critics and analysts said that James influenced or rather forced the Lakers to draft his son. After saying in an interview about his ambitions to play with his son, James Jr., getting drafted into the same team was quite obvious. Even though the allegations of the legend driving the front seat of media in the NBA remain unproved, the possibilities cannot be ruled out.

Despite the accusation of controlling the media, LeBron James’ career accolades speak for itself

Lebron James has been in the league more than any other player currently in the NBA. Approaching his retirement, the Lakers legend is still a menace on the court. Nevertheless, the accusation of controlling the media has not died down. Other than some narratives, James’ accolades as a player speak for itself. If the media glazes over it or not, it doesn’t matter.

James was also voted the best player in the Olympic basketball team. Having his skill and experience in the league and competing with youngsters half of his age, James has earned the title of ‘King’ in the league. The 39-year-old legend leads the NBA in the most made points and continues to perform at a high level.
