Over the past decade, LeBron James has seemingly made it his side quest to speak out against Donald Trump and the way he has run the country ever since the latter first became President.
The war of words between the two was quite the talk of the country, and many on the right started to show their hatred towards the Los Angeles Lakers superstar due to his liberal views. Even though the likes of FOX News took shots at him, the Akron native did not waver and continued to point out what Trump and his government were doing wrong.
It went on to the point where the 45th President openly stated that he did not like the basketball superstar. After all that, it surprised many that LeBron James did not speak up after the two shooting incidents in Minneapolis.
Even though the usual suspects, such as Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, Doc Rivers, WNBA stars, and other Democratic Party supporters voiced their opinion, the four-time champion kept quiet until now.
The father of four shared a music video by the great Bruce Springsteen on his Instagram page. The song, titled ‘Streets of Minneapolis,’ honored Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, the two victims who were shot and killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis this month.

The song condemns the atrocities as well as the heinous way in which ICE agents killed two peaceful protestors, and the way Donald Trump’s government defended them until proof forced them to retract. This was LeBron James finally speaking up in the best way possible.
Gilbert Arenas explains why LeBron James became emotional in Cleveland
Before this anti-ICE post, LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers visited his hometown of Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers. The franchise with whom he spent eleven years and helped bring their first championship, displayed a tribute video during the game.

The superstar was visibly emotional and wiped away the tears with his jersey. When this moment was being discussed on Gil’s Arena, James’ former teammate, Norris Cole, wondered why James was that emotional.
We have never seen him get praised like that. In this generation of negativity. We are talking about a guy who is been talked about in a negative way basically since he came into the league. He’s really having in real time got his flowers… They gave it to him, he was not expecting that. It caught him off guard.

Gilbert Arenas detailed how every year the Lakers’ superstar faces the brunt of trolls on his own. Then, for the Cavaliers to catch him off guard with a tribute video brought out the emotions, as the forward had not experienced something like this before.
Gilbert Arenas and crew detail why Jaylon Tyson had to apologize for LeBron James diss
Another topic that became headline material was when sophomore guard Jaylon Tyson dissed LeBron James by claiming that Cleveland was now Donovan Mitchell‘s city.
The crew of Gil’s Arena was discussing that incident, and then wondered why the Texas native had to apologize later at the press conference, as he was just propping up his teammate.
He don’t have to apologize, man… I’m pretty sure he was thinking the same thing, until he looked on his phone. ‘You about to be traded to Budapest. Oh, you better apologize.’

They agreed that Tyson did not need to apologize. But the moment he realized the entire city and the basketball world were throwing a fit after he basically undermined the efforts of the league’s all-time leading scorer, he had to retract.
