LeBron James faces the WRATH of close friend Draymond Green when on the court
Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green will leave friendship behind when taking on LeBron James and Klay Thompson in games.

LeBron James and Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green are friends off the court and competitors on it
Friendships in the NBA are quite common nowadays as stars find ways to keep the competition going even if they hang out afterward. LeBron James and Draymond Green are one such set who meet up in the off-season and have a time together. Green has also revealed that he would have liked to play with his friend. But the Golden State Warriors star puts the team first when they are opponents.
ESPN writer Ohm Youngmisuk spoke with Green and other Golden State Warriors stars as they prepare for the new NBA season. When talking about how they would compete against now-former teammate Klay Thompson, Green cited an example of close friend LeBron James;
I’m going to run through his chest. There’s always this public disdain over me and Bron’s brotherhood. I try to kill him more than anybody. I take him out. And vice versa. That’s what it is. I’m more apt to run through his chest than Kyrie.

This competitive nature means that before he suits up, Draymond Green leaves his friendship at the door. It also gives an idea about how NBA superstars of today know how to keep work and play separate. Back in the day, when one player had a beef with another on the court, it spilled over to their personal lives.
Green and James just emptied seven bottles of alcohol during their recent getaway. But that will mean nothing when the Lakers arrive on December 25th to battle against the Golden State Warriors. Green will run through his friend’s chest to get his team the win.
Draymond Green and the Warriors will welcome Klay Thompson in November
Draymond Green and his Warriors will be playing without Klay Thompson for the first time in over a decade. The Warriors’ attempt for the fifth NBA title will have to come without Thompson. As such, Green revealed what the Warriors will do when the Dallas Mavericks come to Chase Arena;
So, they’ll have the ceremony … and I’m going to be fully engaged and present and making sure you celebrate him the way he’s supposed to.

Green knows the Warriors faithful would want the team to show their former star all the love. He will participate fully in it and give his former brother-in-arms all the praise he deserves. But again, once those festivities are over, it is game time. Klay Thompson will officially be their enemy as soon as the ball is tipped.
On November 12th, the entire basketball world will tune in to watch Klay Thompson take on his former team while wearing a Dallas Mavericks jersey. It is a situation that no one in the basketball world envisioned would happen a few years ago.
