Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, and others have teamed up for this year’s Olympics. Team USA, coming off an unexpected loss in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, after returning without a medal. This anomaly is rare to witness. In 2004, Team USA lost to Argentina in the Olympics, which was seen as the most unexpected outcome for a team full of NBA players.

While back then, Team USA came back with a bronze, this time there was no medal or success. The 2024 Team USA is nothing short of a Dream Team, looking to bring their sport’s glory back home.

Recently, the finalized roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics was revealed on Twitter, and fans went haywire. The roster includes:

The team of 11 players consists of four MVPs, four NBA champions, and All-Stars. Stephen Curry will be making his Olympic debut, whereas LeBron James will make his fourth Olympic basketball appearance. Kevin Durant, who won the last three Olympic golds for Team USA will be playing his fourth straight Olympics. There is a lot of experience on the roster, as aside from these three champs, players like Tatum, AD, Anthony Edwards, Devin Booker, and others will bring more impact on the team.

As Curry, James, and Durant come close to the end of their NBA careers, this will probably be the last time they play basketball together outside the Association. While the list only includes 11 players, there is a spot left for another name. So far, there have been a lot of players from the NBA who are willing to commit to the national team. However, when it comes down to adding the final player to the list, it will be a tough decision to make.

Looking at the roster, Mavs’ Kyrie Irving‘s addition to the team would result in an overall better shooting backup. This, another version of a Redeem Team is all about bringing the gold back home. King James has been in a similar situation before back in 2008. The greatest scorer of all time teaming up with the greatest shooter of all time will look to add his third Olympic gold this August.
