Having played over 88 minutes in his last 2 games, LeBron James proves to be the game changer for the LA Lakers yet again, this time against OKC. LeBron managed to score a triple-double with 28 points, 12 assists and 14 rebounds. Not just that King James was even active on the back-end of the court with 2 blocks and 2 steals. Having missed a potential game winning shot in the regular time, he made up for it in OT. Undoubtedly LeBron is leading the MVP battle this season, given such performances, there is no stopping King James led Lakers. 

Playing without marquee player Anthony Davis, Montrezl Harrell and Denis Schroder made sure, they play the vital supporting role. Harrell scored 21 whereas Schroder added 19. While Kyle Kuzma scored a double-double as well with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The only concern for the LA Lakers currently seems to be Marc Gasol, the center only managed to register 2 points while playing 19 minutes against OKC.

Talking about the Oklahoma City Thunder, they were led by their marquee scorer Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, who scored 29 points. While Darius Bazley added 21.

After losing quite a few games at home, LA Lakers have started to improve upon their home record. They have now won 7 in 11 at home. LeBron scored his triple-double while playing for 43 minutes in this particular game. Having aged 36, it is super impressive to see a player running around the court to be the game–changer. But it only goes to show that age does not matter when it comes to LeBron King James. 

Having said that, before the battle against the might Brooklyn Nets, LA Lakers have got a good momentum going in their camp. But they would want to surely finish the games earlier than this.
