LeSean McCoy firmly believes that his former Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes is better a quarterback than Aaron Rodgers' prime.

Ben Roethlisberger left the NFL world divided by rating Aaron Rodgers as a better player in his prime compared to Patrick Mahomes. One individual who didn’t take the comparison kindly is LeSean McCoy.
The former NFL running back, who shared a locker room with Mahomes, furiously attacked Roethlisberger during the recent segment of FS1’s The Facility. McCoy advised Big Ben to look at his NFL career before making outlandish claims.
Big Ben hates. One thing about Big Ben: you play 18 years, you have no All-Pros, not one, not one first team, not one second team. This is just me; I don’t respect players that talk about greats a certain way and you have nowhere the type of success they had. You played for 18 years, and you never was considered the best quarterback or the second-best quarterback in football.

What Shady forgot to highlight is that Roethlisberger won two Super Bowls and currently sits at fifth career passing yards with 64,088. Roethlisberger may not be considered a top 10 quarterback for a number of reasons, but he will undeniably go down as a Pittsburgh Steelers legend.
So, he knows a thing or two about being an elite quarterback.
I would take Aaron [Rodgers] in his prime over Patrick [right] now. Aaron Rodgers, in his prime, was one of the top few to ever do it… Patrick Mahomes is just entering his prime, I think. He’ll go down as another arguable GOAT [Greatest of All Time].

Rodgers signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this month. He will anchor the AFC North franchise with DK Metcalf as his main receiver.
Ben Roethlisberger weighed in on Aaron Rodgers’ retirement talks
The Steelers waited nearly four months for Rodgers to make up his mind about joining them. Initially, he wanted a two-year contract but agreed to just one. When reporters asked the 41-year-old the reason behind the sudden change, Rodgers hinted that he might retire after the 2025 season.

I’m pretty sure this is it [for me]. That’s why I just did a one-year deal. The Steelers didn’t need to put any extra years on that [or anything]. This was really about finishing with a lot of love and fun and peace for the career that I have had. I’ve played 20 frickin’ years. It’s been a long run, and I’ve enjoyed it.
Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show earlier this week
Roethlisberger kind of predicted Rodgers’ move.
You’re going to get to see one of the greatest of all time play one more season. Every week is going to be must-see TV. Fans of football—whether at home or on the road—will be coming out because you want to get a glimpse of greatness one last time.

Rodgers played every game during his second and final season for the New York Jets. Despite winning just five games, Rodgers completed 63% of his passes for 28 touchdowns and 11 picks.
The Steelers will begin their new campaign against the Jets in week one. In week eight, the Acrisure Stadium will welcome Rodgers’ former team, the Green Bay Packers.
