Le’Veon Bell destroys Adrian Peterson with a BRUTAL 5th round KO in the clash of former All-Pro backs

Adrian Peterson Le'Veon Bell
Le’Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson exchanged blows in an exhibition boxing match which ended in a TKO victory for Bell in the 5th round. The bout was part of the Social Gloves 2 event held at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. The card was headlined by social media stars Austin McBroom and AnEson Gib.
Bell and Peterson are both former running backs who are both multiple times Pro Bowlers in the National Football League. Bell played his best years for the team that drafted him the Pittsburgh Steelers where he played for 6 seasons and brief stints for the Jets, Chiefs, Ravens, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Peterson is a sure-fire first-ballot Hall of Famer with his best years spent with the Minnesota Vikings who drafted him number 7 overall in the 2007 NFL draft.

The bout didn’t see significant action for the first 4 four rounds but Bell came out all guns blazing in the 5th round and the bout ended when a powerful upper hand found a home in the form of Peterson’s chin. Peterson’s legs gave out under him after the strike and the official rightfully called an end to the fight amid protests from Peterson who was still wobbly on his feet.
The bout didn’t give much to speak about and both debutants looked out of their elements leaving a lot to be desired in terms of boxing acumen. Since the bout took place as the NFL season is taking off it looks like both the players are not expecting to be part of an NFL team this season.
