WWE is amidst what many say is a renaissance. The company’s booming success can be attributed to many superstars who’ve gotten over with the audience since Triple H took over the creative reins from Vince McMahon. One of the most glaringly detestable characters that WWE boasts of right now is Dominik Mysterio, who has Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda invested in him.
Speaking on the Ebro In The Morning podcast, the 44-year-old actor heaped tons of praise on Rey Mysterio‘s son. Miranda said he’s loving Dominik’s ongoing heel persona that has aggravated since he dumped Rhea Ripley for Liv Morgan. “Dirty” Dom also received props from Lin-Manuel for the way he attracts nuclear heat from the live crowds, whichever city he’s in.
Probably in what’d go as one of the biggest compliments he’s gotten, Miranda claimed that Dom’s probably the greatest bad guy he’s seen on wrestling television since ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted Dibiase in the 80s. That sounds right. Dominik in kayfabe, has endured imprisonment to being adored by Rhea Ripley in The Judgment Day, and now he has a different girl.
Iโm loving Dom Mysterioโs heel-to-superheel turn. He was already over as a heel, and then he left Rhea Ripley for Liv Morgan. It is the most over Iโve seen a heel since โThe Million Dollar Man………

The modern-day Latino Heat was the reason Ripley couldn’t win back the women’s world title at SummerSlam. Earlier this month, at Bad Blood, Rhea had another shot at gold. She had lined up Liv for a callous beatdown along with championship aspirations.
The Eradicator couldn’t have asked for more with Mysterio locked up high inside a shark cage. There was no one but Morgan to oppose Rhea. However, the ending of that match saw a returning Raquel Rodriguez attack Rhea Ripley from behind. It caused a disqualification, thus enabling Liv to retain the women’s title.
Dominik Mysterio eyes championship gold in WWE
It seems like Dominik Mysterio wants to get back in a vortex of singles glory in WWE. A former NXT North American Champion in his own right now wants to take off the Intercontinental Championship from Jey Uso.

In a recent interview with Foundation Radio, the 27-year-old expressed his burning desire to settle his unfinished business with The Yeet Master. Uso and Mysterio briefly feuded on Raw quite recently when Jey was making the play for Rhea Ripley.
Mami was still aligned with Dom at that point and she asked her then-boyfriend to go handle the former Bloodline member. The story took a flip when Ripley started mixing up with Uso. It’d be interesting to see if Mysterio could take out the multi-time tag team champion in the future.
