Linda McMahon, the estranged wife of former WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, is reportedly set to be named as the US Secretary of the Department of Education, per CNN. The decision comes on the heels of Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick being given priority over Mrs. McMahon to oversee the Commerce Department.
Back in 2017, when the Queensland-born Republican lead was in his first term, McMahon served as the 25th administrator of the Small Business Administration. Then, two years later in 2019, she stepped down from her position in SBA only to be named as the chairwoman of America First Action, a pro-Trump political action committee.
Apart from these roles, the 76-year-old bureaucrat had previously run for Senate in Connecticut but failed twice. Those campaigns cost her about $100 million. Other nominations in Donald Trump‘s stacked cabinet picks include Senator Marco Rubio. He’s tapped in as the US Secretary of State.

It even prompted CNN’s GOP voice, Scott Jennings, to advocate for retired pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan being the one replacing Rubio as the new senior senator from Florida. Trump also roped in vaccine cynic Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. as the US Secretary of Human and Health Services (HHS).
As a result, it engendered a witty response from Knox County Mayor and fellow Republican Glenn Jacobs, aka Kane. The former WWE wrestler hailed the president-elect’s choice of RKF Jr. landing a key role in the health department. Trump has stood his ground on his years-in-the-making slogan of MAGA, which says, Making America Healthy Again.

Jones, who recorded a third-round TKO against Miocic, did the Trump YMCA dance in front of the president-elect. That capped off a night filled with breathtaking action that had a swanky lining to it.
