There is no love lost between Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch after Morgan abandoned the Women's World Champion in her fight against Damage CTRL.

The changes made in the recent WWE Draft went into effect from the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. A massive change made during the Draft last week was Damage CTRL, namely Iyo Sky, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai being drafted over to the red brand. The group wanted to make a statement and did so by interrupting a segment between Liv Morgan and Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch.

The members of Damage CTRL surrounded the ring and started to slowly make their way inside. Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan found themselves standing back to back in anticipation of the female faction making a move. However, the 29-year-old decided that it wasn’t her fight and abandoned The Man by quickly rolling out of the ring.

The former Women’s Tag Team Champion proceeded to walk away from the ring. She raised her arms and laughed maniacally at the Irish wrestler, signaling that it wasn’t her problem. This gave Damage CTRL just enough time to get inside the ring and jump the newly-crowned Women’s World Champion.

As the three started laying a beatdown on Big Time Becks, newly drafted and fellow Irish wrestler Lyra Valkyria came out to make the save. She passed a look to Morgan before diving into the ring to make the save. The segment transitioned into the NXT call-up, facing Kai in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament. She pinned the Damage CTRL member after delivering a Nightwish.

In an interview with TVInsider, Lyra Valkyria talked about her relationship with Becky Lynch. She teased the possibility of meeting the 37-year-old down the line in her career. However, it was incredible for her to have a person that she could look toward who grew up down the road from her.

She claimed that it was crazy for an Irish girl to come this far. Coming from a place like Ireland, Valkyria didn’t have many people to whom she looked up. Therefore, it was incredible for her to see what was possible through Becky Lynch and just how far one can go. 

An Irish girl who has come so far is just crazy. To come from a place like Ireland, a lot of people don’t have that person they can look up to. So to see what is possible through her and how far one can go is incredible.

The wrestling veteran advised her to be herself and have trust in what she brings. Valkyria thought that the Women’s World Champion had been herself her entire career. That is what has taken her so far in her career. 

It was clear that the World Champion had a lot of respect for the young Superstar as well. She put over the young talent clean at NXT: Halloween Havoc, crowning the 27-year-old the new NXT Women’s Champion.
