On the Raw Netflix premiere, Liv Morgan‘s 226-day Women’s World Championship reign came to an end. The feud between Morgan and her former tag team partner, Rhea Ripley, culminated in a match for the title. Despite a hard-fought effort, Morgan lost the championship to Ripley. Days following the devastating loss, the 30-year-old star has finally broken silence.
Taking to X, Morgan looked unfazed, boldly declaring herself as the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. This wasn’t the first time that Morgan made the claim. After winning the title, she would incorporate the statement into her gimmick. Furthermore, Morgan took pride in not only injuring Ripley last year, but also stealing her boyfriend and family from her.
In 2024, the former Money in the Bank winner vowed to avenge Ripley after the latter put her on the shelf for several months. As such, Morgan first viciously attacked The Eradicator backstage, which forced her to vacate the title due to injury. In the months that followed, Morgan made Ripley’s life a living hell, replacing her in The Judgment Day family.

Other than Rhea Ripley, Morgan successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against Zelina Vega and IYO SKY. While her reign received polarizing reviews, there is no doubt that the former Riott Squad member established herself as one of the top names in the women’s division. Having said that, it will be interesting to see how things lie ahead for Liv Morgan.
What is next for Liv Morgan following title loss on Raw?
During the post-show Raw press conference on Monday, Rhea Ripley confirmed that she was done with Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day. Hence, both stars will now be moving on to different feuds following their months-long feud.
With Morgan solidifying her place as a top wrestler on the red brand, there are several stars lying in wait to face her. Recently, reports of Becky Lynch‘s return have intensified. The last time fans saw Lynch was in a loss against Morgan in a Steel Cage match. For months, Morgan has claimed that she ‘retired’ The Man from in-ring competition.
Taking that into account, it wouldn’t be surprising if the two feuded upon Lynch’s comeback. Meanwhile, there have also been rumors of a possible Judgment Day-Wyatt Sicks program for WrestleMania. This would feature Morgan taking on Nikki Cross and potentially a returning Alexa Bliss in the leadup to the spectacle.
