Liv Morgan finally completed her revenge tour and defeated Rhea Ripley to retain her world title. Daddio secured a crucial victory over her arch-rival with a strategic assist and an unexpected betrayal from Dominik Mysterio. After a statement win at SummerSlam and stealing Dom Dom from his Mami, the champion sent a message on social media.

The 30-year-old star took to X and sent a message to The Eradicator after her win at SummerSlam. Liv Morgan asserted that everything Ripley loved was now hers. First, she took her Women’s World Championship, and now she’s claimed her Latino Heat, Dominik Mysterio. Although the 27-year-old star did tell Daddio that he hated her, it was all a facade to earn Mami’s trust once again.

Speaking about the match itself, it was a pretty entertaining affair between two bitter rivals. In an astonishing moment, Rhea Ripley herself repaired her injured shoulder by slamming it onto the announce table. However, for the 27-year-old star, Morgan focused on her weakness and continued attacking her shoulder. At one point in the match, Daddio couldn’t believe that Ripley kicked out of her Oblivion.

What turned out to be a turning point in the match was “Dirty” Dom’s shenanigans to set up the chair in the ring. While he distracted the referee, Morgan hit another Oblivion on her opponent to retain her title. To add insult to injury, Dom and the champion shared a kiss in front of the Australian. After the shocking moment, Ripley was seen heartbroken backstage.

After the events at SummerSlam, fans can’t stop talking about how cruel the betrayal was. Nobody would’ve thought that “Dirty” Dom would stab Ripley in the back and join Liv Morgan’s side at the biggest event of the summer. Especially the young fan who met the 27-year-old star before the match.

A few hours before the mega event, WWE shared a video clip in which a young fan told Dom that Daddio must stop messing with him. In response, Mysterio said he had been trying to tell her to stay away from him, but she didn’t listen. In a wholesome conversation, a young fan told Dominik that he might betray his Mami, after which he clarified that he was team Mami all the way.

Interestingly, CM Punk was involved in the conversation as well, assuring the young fan that Dom wouldn’t do anything wrong. However, the people in attendance knew how that turned out.
