Liv Morgan saves Dominik Mysterio at last second after Rhea Ripley attempts Riptide on former partner on Raw

Rhea Ripley attempts Riptide on Dominik Mysterio on Raw (via WWE)
Just like that, Rhea Ripley has moved on from the breakup of The Judgment Day. The Eradicator kicked off the latest episode of Raw and sent a message to both Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. The duo was surprised by Damian Priest, who emerged behind them in the crowd. After Priest defeated Carlito, a brawl ensued between The Terror Twins and the new Judgment Day faction.
Once again, Priest and Ripley made light work of their former faction. As the pair hugged in the middle of the ring, Mysterio sneakily attempted a high-flying move. However, Priest caught Dom in mid-air and teased hitting him with a South of Heaven Chokeslam. Instead, Mami insisted that she get a piece of her former partner, as The Archer of Infamy sent Mysterio her way. Ripley kicked Mysterio in the stomach and went for a Riptide.
However, Morgan saved her “Daddy” Dom at the last second, pulling him out of the ring before her rival could inflict punishment. Prior to the bout, the former NXT North American Champion explained why he betrayed Ripley at SummerSlam. Dominik Mysterio claimed that he felt embarrassed every time he called her “Mami.” Moreover, Morgan treats him better than the Aussie wrestler used to.
Most importantly, the Women’s World Champion did something that Rhea Ripley never could—help Dom beat his deadbeat dad. Nonetheless, fans are eagerly anticipating the moment Mami finally delivers the Riptide on Mysterio.
Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan vs. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley to be made official for Bash in Berlin
Amidst this chaos involving The Judgment Day storyline, a mixed tag team match has been heavily rumored for Bash in Berlin. The aforementioned opening segment added to the speculation, as it seems a bout pitting Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan against Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley is imminent.
Since returning to WWE, Morgan has made it her mission to take everything away from Ripley. After injuring the 27-year-old, Liv quickly became the Women’s World Champion. Later, she shifted her focus to Mysterio and The Judgment Day.
Although Liv had to be patient for months, she finally completed her revenge tour at SummerSlam. Not only did she snatch Dom away from his Mami, but she played a major role in the implosion of The Judgment Day. Needless to say, Ripley will be seeking revenge in the coming weeks on Raw.
