Dominik Mysterio shocked the world when he turned on Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam. The Latino superstar sided with Liv Morgan and helped her retain her Women’s World Championship. The two superstars had built up quite a romance angle during Mami’s absence, and it all came to a blowoff at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

Shortly after the latest episode of Raw went off the air, Liv Morgan took to X. She posted a photo of herself kissing “Dirty” Dom backstage, and the two hid their faces behind a hat. She called him his hero, and her ‘Daddy Dom.’ The reason for this was because the 27-year-old saved the Queen of Extreme from a brutal beatdown by Rhea Ripley.

The latest episode of Raw featured Damian Priest taking on JD McDonagh after the recent implosion of The Judgment Day. The match ended in disqualification after Finn Balor attacked the former World Heavyweight Champion during his match. This led to a chaotic brawl between the former and current members of The Judgment Day.

A few moments later, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio could be seen beating Priest down in the ring. Ripley’s music hit, and she came out to save her terror twin. The Women’s World Champion tried making her escape, but The Eradicator caught her just in time. She was about to put the champion through an announce table with a powerbomb. However, Dom snuck up on them, pulled away his love interest, and ran with her in his arms.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has a complaint with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio’s kiss at SummerSlam

The ending segment between Ripley, Morgan, and Mysterio at SummerSlam was unanimously well-received by fans. Speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Bully Ray joined in on the conversation by giving his opinion of the angle.

The Hall of Famer rated the match a nine out of ten, and the subsequent angle received a great reaction from the crowd. He claimed that the sound would tell one everything they needed to know. However, the 53-year-old had a complaint with the kiss between Morgan and Mysterio.

I think I would have much preferred it to happen in the ring. Maybe would have made it a tad bit bigger.

Bully Ray on Busted Open Radio

Although Ray did not have an issue with the kiss itself, he did not like where it took place. The former TNA champion would have preferred the kiss to take place in the ring rather than on the ground. He believed that this would have made the moment feel much bigger than how it ended up.
