Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan had one of the most intense rivalries of 2024, fueled by personal stakes and high tensions. Their feud escalated after both superstars legitimately injured each other, with the Women’s World Championship and a love triangle involving Dominik Mysterio adding to the drama. The two recently crossed paths once again, but unfortunately, things did not end well for the 30-year-old.

During the ongoing European tour, these two superstars faced each other in a street fight at two house shows, one in Dortmund and one in Hannover. Unfortunately, Morgan lost both of these matches. Following the bouts, she posted a photo on X, showing bruises on the side of her stomach following her match against Rhea Ripley. She flipped off The Eradicator in the caption.

Morgan has truly been giving it her all for the women’s division over the past few months. Just a few weeks ago, she showed her bruises after being regarded as the MVP of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. She had also suffered nasty injuries to her face following a match on Raw last month.

These incidents clearly reflect Morgan’s dedication towards her art form and why she has been receiving massive praise from the WWE Universe. Currently, the former Ms. Money in the Bank seems to be heading into a feud against Jade Cargill after being falsely accused as her attacker.

What are the WrestleMania 41 plans for Liv Morgan?

After Liv Morgan lost the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, it was not so clear what WWE had planned for her at WrestleMania 41. She will likely be defending the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Raquel Rodriguez. However, the duo does not have many credible competitors vying for the titles.

Now, WWE has been teasing something between Morgan and Alexa Bliss. The latter was eliminated from both the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber by the 2x Women’s World Champion. This could translate into a singles match between the two, set to take place at the Showcase of the Immortals. Reports have also stated that Little Miss Bliss’ plans for WrestleMania 41 involve The Wyatt Sicks. Thus, she could even team with Nikki Cross to go after the tag titles.

Both these names are too big to be left off the WrestleMania card. Furthermore, neither of them has any major WrestleMania-worthy storylines going on at the moment. Thus, pitting them against each other could be perfect.

Layla is open to facing Liv Morgan in WWE

Trish Stratus truly set an example for women’s wrestling veterans in WWE. She proved that even after already having a Hall of Fame career, one can come back and revitalize their legacy against some of the best women’s wrestlers on the planet today. It appears that Layla may soon be headed down a similar track.
