Budapest is confirmed to be the location for Liverpool v RB Leipzig second leg as governments enforce mandatory quarantine after travel

Liverpool played their first leg Round of 16 clash against RB Leipzig in the Puskas Arena, Budapest as Germany imposed a travel ban on the United Kingdom. The first leg was won 0-2 by Liverpool as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane capitalized on defensive lapses to score goals. Liverpool head into the second leg with a goal advantage that could see them sit back in order to conserve energy for their Premier League fixtures where they are fighting with their lives to finish top 4.
Liverpool could potentially be carrying a 2 away goals rule advantage into the second leg
UEFA have opted for a blanket rule as some teams were able to play in their own home stadium while other teams had to be relocated to neutral venues. While RB Leipzig v Liverpool and Borussia Monchengladbach v Manchester City was played in Budapest, Atletico Madrid v Chelsea was played in Bucharest. Due to this, away goals rule was applied to all these matches and the ones who won now have away goals.
Liverpool have two away goals in their kitty and they could choose to sit back and observe RB Leipzig’s waves of attack. Alisson Becker had to make some good saves in order to deny Leipzig a chance of scoring. Now it will be a different task as Leipzig will want to win this match at any cost in order to qualify for the next round. However, Liverpool will be able to welcome back the services of Naby Keita, Diogo Jota, Ben Davies and Fabinho for the second leg. This means that Liverpool have an almost fully fit squad for the business end of the campaign with only Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez missing.
