Paul Skenes is fresh out of finishing his impressive rookie season in the MLB. LSU girlfriend Livvy Dunne was all there to support him throughout, not missing his last game of the season. To sum up Skenes’ tremendous season, Dunne posted a photo dump on her Instagram handle.
Paul Skenes was picked first overall in the 2023 draft by the Pittsburg Pirates after he took the LSU to a win in the College World Series. Fellow LSU athlete, Livvy Dunne, did not miss to cheer him on ever since he got the MLB All-Star nod.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Dunne looked back at the rookie’s year with great stats at his dismissal. One post also dated back to the couple enjoying the Pirate star’s first All-Star selection.
Paul Skenes capped out the penultimate game of his rookie season in an epic match against the New York Yankees in the Yankees Stadium. The LSU athlete has been consistent in his performance throughout the season. To honor that, Skenes took two perfect innings, with striking out Yankee’s Aaron Judge and Juan Soto.
The strike out got the Pirates a 9-4 victory. Livvy Dunne made sure to not miss that, as she showed up with an ultimate tribute to Skenes as well as the Pirates. Dunne donned custom-made white boots that spelled “Pirates” on the front and “Skenes” on the back. The rookie season dump also included one picture from the aforementioned game.
Livvy Dunne habitual of private jet with Paul Skenes
Paul Skenes is officially the ultimate green flag, as the netizens put it. In an episode of Flau’jae Johnson’s “Best of Both Worlds” podcast, Livvy Dunne spilled some secrets on her relationship with the Pirates pitcher. Amongst which, she recalled her first time travelling in private jet, which was with Paul Skenes.
Dunne shared the story of taking a private jet with the Pirates pitcher back in July for his MLB All-Star game in Arlington, Texas. Since then, she confessed it has become a habit for the LSU gymnast. Since she is in her fifth and final season at the LSU, she did not have time to pursue connecting flights and giving away whole day to travelling.
To eradicate that, Skenes came to the rescue with the private jet. Despite their busy schedules, the student-athletes continue to support each other. Later, the LSU athlete chimed in with the classic ‘if he wanted to, he would’ with their followers.
