WWE was believed to have had a major falling out with 10-time Grammy-nominated rapper Travis Scott earlier this year. But the specifics of it were under wraps. Not anymore. On his latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul revealed that there were plans for him to team up with Scott and one other person in a 6-man tag team match.

But Scott didn’t show up on the day it was supposed to be announced, as per ‘The Maverick’. Giving his account of the situation, Paul thought that ‘Trav’ decided to step away from WWE the moment he realized how physically demanding it actually is.

The former US Champion added that it wouldn’t have been possible for the Houston-born artist to commit to the world of professional wrestling, especially for someone of his stature in the field of music.

………we were supposed to team up with one other person. It was supposed to be three on three, and the day that it was supposed to be announced, he didn’t show up. I think what happened is, my guess, he probably realized at some point that it’s really physically demanding, really hard and a lot of work. It’s probably too much commitment for someone who is a rock star of his caliber.

The current Vision member cited the example of Bad Bunny, who had set the bar so high for celebrity wrestlers in WWE. Paul said Bunny loved it and dedicated the time needed to learn the intricacies of this craft. ‘The Maverick’ then proceeded to emphasize that wrestling is all about navigating through the pain. He affirmed that the ring canvas isn’t bouncy and soft like he thought before becoming a part of this business.

The 30-year-old underscored that the bumps do take a heavy toll on one’s body. The very realization of it would’ve driven Travis Scott away from the ring, as Paul said it. At last, the Westlake-born social media icon wished for ‘Trav’ to wrestle down the line.

Circling back to what the original plans were for Scott’s WWE debut match, he was slated to join forces with Logan Paul and John Cena against Cody Rhodes and The Usos at Money in the Bank. It obviously didn’t happen.

What did John Cena have to say about The Rock and Travis Scott’s WWE exit after his heel turn?

Shortly before Logan Paul‘s bombshell revelation about Travis Scott’s WWE ouster, John Cena was explicitly asked about it by Chris Van Vliet on Insight. The Emmy Award-winning host inquired of Cena over the original plan for the involvement of both Travis Scott and also The Rock after the two of them orchestrated his heel turn at the Elimination Chamber.

Cena came off as ignorant when he responded by saying, “Who cares?” The 17-time world champion affirmed he doesn’t dwell for even a second on what could’ve been. Knowing Cena was beating around the bush, Van Vliet countered by asking if there was ever a match with The Rock being discussed this year. ‘The Franchise Player’, yet again, noted that’s the worst part about what could’ve happened, as it didn’t.

Cena also noted that even if anything of that sort was discussed, he wasn’t made aware of it, as those conversations don’t trickle down to him. The Peacemaker star mentioned how he was the last person to be called by Triple H while they were amidst the process of engineering his heel turn. ‘The Prototype’ said it’s because he’s easiest to work with under these circumstances.

After Rock and Scott opted out of the mix, Cena didn’t sweat them and instead looked forward to what WWE wanted him to do next. That being said, the 48-year-old Hollywood mogul didn’t bash either Rock or Scott for abandoning the storyline post WrestleMania 41. There’s a huge possibility that the fans will never get to know what exactly happened behind the scenes.

While Logan Paul has now publicly spoken about what he thought was the reason behind Travis Scott walking out on WWE, he didn’t mention The Rock at all. Even though there’s no credible source to corroborate it, several fans believe that ‘The Great One’ must’ve had some creative disagreements with WWE over the finish of John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes on WrestleMania Sunday.
