Logan Paul has run into yet another controversy for something that happened four years ago. Earlier today, some accounts on X started sharing a clip of Paul’s YouTube video that was shot in 2020. It was alleged that he had advertently pushed his dog, Broley, into a boat propeller while pretending that his pet did it on his own.

Taking it to X, the WWE Superstar has now issued a statement. He reiterated the pinned comment that he made back then to quell an outcry from his viewers. Logan affirmed that Broley initiated the jump and was never pushed. In fact, he pointed out that a hand was behind him to ensure he was fine. However, the dog, whom Paul said had his eyes on something, jumped anyway.

In the aforementioned clarification on X, The Maverick said that when Broley induced the jump, his tail remained curled. But if he were pushed from behind to get off the boat, his tail would’ve been tucked between his legs, added the 29-year-old. Logan Paul also confirmed that one of the two hands that were behind the dog was his. Despite petting him from the back, Broley escaped their grasp.

As a result, the boxer-turned-wrestler had to take matters into his own hands by leaping into the water in pursuit of his pet. In the end, Paul did mention that a couple of original posts made against him are now deleted as he responded with video evidence about what exactly happened. Though Paul was mad at those who called him out, the former United States Champion was grateful for the ones who had his back.

What was Logan Paul’s previous appearance in WWE?

At this year’s SummerSlam, Logan Paul walked into the Cleveland Browns Stadium with the United States Championship around his waist. Paul took on LA Knight with gold on the line. After a barn-burner of a match, the IMPAULSIVE host succumbed to a spirited performance by The Megastar.

Even an underhanded brass knucks assist from rapper MGK couldn’t sway the result in Paul’s favor. With that, Logan’s run with the title came to a halt at the 272nd-day mark. After a while, Paul announced on X that he had filed a lawsuit against Knight for committing a civil theft of his PRIME-themed Hummer truck.

At this point, it’s unknown when the social media megastar will return to WWE. He’s expected to be off for a few months until WWE ushers in 2025. Paul could show up on debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix. But it’s too early to comment on that.
