“Look Out” Conor McGregor makes surprising appearance at Khabib Vs Gaethje face off on ‘Fight Island

Conor McGregor yet again teased a potential rematch with UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. This time, he made his presence felt in the Fight Island, not by physically being present, but via deception. The notorious one hilariously “inserted” himself to photobomb Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje’s pre-fight still.

Does a title shot await Mcgregor?

Khabib Nurmagomedov set to defend his title against Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 254. However, it looks another man has got his eye on the lightweight title. Mcgregor took to instagram to share the edited pic, but also attached a pic of Khabib’s cousin as well. Nurmagomedov’s relative was engaged in a scuffle with Mcgregor during the melee which was caused at UFC 229.

He was, however questioned by Dana White for his actions at the time of UFC 253. While during the marquee event he was criticized for trying to steal UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya’s thunder. This time perhaps he was aiming for his bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Mcgregor is reportedly taking on Dustin Poirier in a huge rematch next year. However Mcgregor vs Poirier is yet to be made completely official, and it’s believed that talks have reached the negotiations stage. The real question being, what message Mcgregor trying to convey with all his recent actions? We can only assume he’ll be watching UFC 254’s main event closely.
