However, this is not the case with the UFC heavyweight champion and the interim UFC heavyweight champion. Despite this, UFC CEO Dana White has recently reiterated his desire to see Jon Jones fight Tom Aspinall after UFC 309.

Currently, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, is scheduled to face one of the most successful UFC heavyweight fighters, Stipe Miocic. However, ahead of the PPV, both fighters participated in the pre-fight press conference for UFC 309. During the conference, Dana White, who was present, brought up the topic of a potential fight between Jones and Aspinall.

The winner (Jones vs. Miocic) should absolutely fight Tom (Aspinall).
