Full Name Tom Aspinall

Tom Aspinall is an English Mixed Martial Artist. He was born in Manchester and grew up idolizing his father. His father was a Martial Artist, inspiring the young Aspinall to follow in his footsteps. Tom Aspinall started boxing and wrestling at a young age and eventually transitioned into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He was a skilled prospect and won the British Open Cup in Jiu-Jitsu. He entered high school at 173cm and grew 23cm to 196cm at the end of high school. The British fighter began his MMA journey in 2014. After brief BAMMA and Cage Warrior stints, he finally signed for the UFC in 2019.

Tom Aspinall made his UFC debut in 2020 with an impressive TKO finish over Jake Collier in the first minute of the fight. He followed his remarkable debut with a four-fight winning streak. By submission, he defeated former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski and former Bellator champion Alexander Volkov. Standing at 6ft 5 inches, he has a unique ability to have excellent kickboxing and grappling pedigree. His devastating ACL injury against Curtis Blaydes in 2022 gave him the first loss in the UFC. He will look to rebound from the injury and possibly fight for the UFC Heavyweight title in the near future.
