Russell Westbrook and Lebron James

Possibly the best player of basketball Lebron James pores out love in a humorous and affectionate way on Russell Westbrook. The latter made headlines after being trade away from the Houston Rockets just after one season and going to Washington Wizards. Westbrook was involved in a swap deal with John Wall. He now re-unites with his former coach Scott Brooks.

The Wizards have definitely got the better off this trade. With no offense to Wall, he is towards the end of his career and is coming back into the league after 2 years. Whereas all what Westbrook needs is a little confidence to shine back to his best. He most certainly stull has the game changing ability with himself.

A video featuring Westbrook in training camp has gone viral. He can be seen yelling, “Scotty said I can’t dunk!” while he propels in the air and dishes the ball to Rui Hachimura. It also shows Russell attempting to juggle the basketball like a football and bonding with his teammate, Anzejs Pasecniks.

The way Westbrook conducts himself is always fun to watch. Even LeBron reposted the video and wrote, “Love this dude!!!”

Having said that, it would be interesting to see how Russell adjusts himself with his new teammates and a new coaching style. With Bradley Beal alongside him, there is no doubt that this could be a solid pair in the Eastern Conference. As far as their pre-season is concerned Wizards play the Brooklyn Nets in their first match. They would surely want to give time to Westbrook to see how he understands and adjusts according to the game of his new teammates.

Lastly Lebron James did not play against the Los Angeles Clippers in the Lakers’ first pre-season game. But who knows we could see him in action next week or so before the start of the regular season.
