Tension between Imperium members has been brewing for quite a while now. Things finally reached a breaking point, and Ludwig Kaiser brutalized his teammate Giovanni Vinci following a loss on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.
The 33-year-old recently posted a video of his beatdown of Vinci after their loss on Monday Night RAW. He captioned the video telling people to “drop them if they pull you down.” Kaiser further mentioned that it was his time to rise.
On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Imperium was interrupted by the New Day. Woods and Kingston wished to re-kindle their rivalry with Imperium, which the Europeans accepted. After a hard-fought battle, Imperium lost the match after Kofi Kingston pinned the Italian.
Ludwig Kaiser turned on the Italian after this match and brutalized him all over the ringside. Further, he hit Vinci with a devastating dropkick on the steel chairs, the same move that injured Kingston a few weeks back. Upon walking backstage, the German was greeted by Gunther, who gave him a smile and nod of approval.
Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser to reportedly continue as a stable
After the intense segment on Monday Night Raw, fans were confused about what this could mean for the European stable. According to Fightful, Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther will continue to work together on TV, as hinted by the Ring General’s approval of the German’s actions. This is the first change in the faction since their reunion at Clash at the Castle 2022.
The former Intercontinental Champion will be focusing his efforts on the upcoming King of the Ring tournament. Meanwhile, the German will likely be involved in a feud with his former teammate going forward.
There has also been a lot of speculation about Ilja Dragunov joining the faction. After losing his NXT championship to Trick Williams, the Russian seems main-roster bound in the upcoming draft. While no official report of this exists yet, it will be a treat to watch him join forces with the Ring General.
