The entire NBA was shaken to the core after receiving news of Luka Doncic‘s trade to the Los Angeles Lakers. With Dallas’ loss, the NBA All-Star athlete also faced some, such as his recently bought house in the city. After learning of Doncic’s financial loss, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy ridiculed him on his social media account.
The seismic trade had several implications for both teams and everybody involved. While some are yet to be discovered, the others have surfaced, especially for Luka Doncic. Per reports, the NBA star recently spent a whopping $15 million on a property in Dallas, stirring several fans.
Meanwhile, some were unmoved by the circumstance, one such being Dave Portnoy. Taking to his X account, the sports enthusiast retweeted the news and jabbed that the loss wasn’t life-ending.

In the aforementioned post, Chandler Parsons conveyed that Luka Doncic had signed the massive house deal only last week. The information further angered the users, considering the unforeseenness of the trade. Parsons also added that the trade was utterly abrupt for Doncic and he was devastated in tears. He also called out the Dallas Mavericks’ concerned authorities for their treatment of the athlete who took them to the Finals the previous year.
Meanwhile, some like Dave Portnoy were unsympathetic of any athlete, as evident from his posts. Nonetheless, the move will assuredly shake things up for both teams. The fans believed the Lakers got one step closer to winning the championship, relying on LeBron James-Luka Doncic’s power. As for the Mavericks, the boon is yet to be figured out.

On Sunday, Dallas passed the biggest trade to ever happen in the history of the league by letting Luka Doncic go to LA. After the shocking news went out to the public, the entire city was in agony and remorse as is. The following reports added fuel to the fire as they learned that neither of the athletes involved was aware of the trade.
