Doncic turned to Irving on the last possession and said, “I’m tired as sh*t.” Irving responded to him by saying, “That’s the way it’s supposed to be.” Doncic further added, “It’s been unbelievable to have him on our team. It’s a blessing.”
Doncic also claimed how much of a blessing Irving is to the Mavericks’ side this 2023-24 NBA season.
On the sports side of things, the Minnesota Timberwolves and their star man, Anthony Edwards have been completely dominated by the heroics of Doncic and Irving in game 3. Edwards dropped 26 points on the Mavericks but to no avail as he received very little support from his teammates in attack. This resulted in his side’s loss in game 3 at the American Airlines Center.
