Lush Caves in Minecraft: How to get it?
The Minecraft 1.17 update called the Caves and Cliffs part I is now out and along it comes a lot of features, but not the Lush Caves disappointingly. In this article we discuss the Lush Caves in Minecraft and see what features it possesses.
The Minecraft 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update is the biggest update that the game has received in a decade, right after the Nether update. The new update has released many new additions to the game including biomes, mobs, blocks, items, crafting recipes and more. The Part I update bought in many of these changes and the new biomes but the Lush Caves didn’t make it into the patch.
Down below we take a look at the Lush Caves in Minecraft and how to get them in your world.
Lush Caves in Minecraft
The Lush Caves that are yet to be implemented in the game are a newly introduced biome that can be found both over the ground and underground, in caves.

The Lush Caves biome is the signature biome for Azalea trees and flowers. The underground part has moss covered floors and ceilings with moss carpet, grass and azalea bushes. The ceiling is lined with vines and glow berries. It may also contains clay pools where dripleaf plants grow.
The over the ground part has Azalea trees on the top and roots and hanging hoots that connect to the bottom lush caves.
How to get the Lush Cave in Minecraft right now?
The Lush caves biomes are not available in Minecraft 1.17 as of yet and is reserved for any future updates. However, players can still get the biome in game if they want it to.
There is a feature in Minecraft where players can create a single-biome only world and it will consist of that biome only.
Follow these steps to get the Lush Caves in Minecraft:
Open Your Minecraft Launcher and click on the Singleplayer mode.
Click on the Create World option and then on the World Type. Change the World Type to Single Biome mode.
Click on the Customize option down below and select the Lush Caves option from the drop down list.
Click Create World and the players will be able to experience the Lush Caves Biome in the game.
