Becky Lynch was unsuccessful in her defense of the Women’s World Championship at King & Queen of the Ring. She failed to reclaim her title two days later on Raw, and she seems to have walked away from WWE for now. Her long-time friend and fellow Irishwoman, Lyra Valkyria, recently gave an update about The Man on Raw.

Speaking with Cathy Kelly on the latest episode of Raw, the recent NXT call-up revealed that the 37-year-old was highly disappointed. She knew Becky Lynch very well and claimed that she was at her best when people thought that they had her beat.

The former Women’s Champion would accept her loss, use it to make herself better, and come back around. Lyra Valkyria claimed that this was how winning was done, something that Liv Morgan knows nothing about.

She’ll take that loss, and she’ll come back around and use it to make herself better. Because that’s how winning is done. Real winning.

WWE seems to be pretty confident in their abilities to retain Big Time Becks. As of now, she has reportedly not signed a deal with any wrestling company and continues to be a free agent. The Irish wrestler also left her fans with a cryptic message before her hiatus from wrestling.

Booker T speaks about Becky Lynch joining AEW

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about the possibility of Lynch joining AEW. He believed that if she was available, Tony Khan should definitely go ahead and sign her. The 59-year-old claimed that he holds the Irish in high regard and has even defended her multiple times in the past.

The Hall of Famer emphasized how good of an in-ring talent she was. Booker T also claimed that one could not find a better locker room leader than Lynch. However, if she does depart to AEW, business must continue, and the company has to keep moving.

One shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for Lynch’s debut in AEW. She has been loyal to the Stamford-based promotion for a long time, and she even has her husband, Seth Rollins, there. However, one can never be too sure in the unpredictable world of professional wrestling.
