CM Punk has been a major attraction for WWE ever since he made his return at the Survivor Series. However, the celebration was cut short when the ‘Best in the World’ tore his triceps and went out of action. Now, a recent and major update has finally been released on the ‘Second City Saint.’ Amid all his shenanigans in WWE, this new report highlights the in-ring return time of the Straight Edge Superstar.
According to some credible WWE insiders, CM Punk might make his much-awaited return around Clash at the Castle. In essence, he is also going to be a major part of WWE’s events throughout the summer. Besides, it also confirms the participation of the Best in the World for SummerSlam in Cleveland this year. With his current rivalry being with Drew McIntyre, Punk might have some role for the hometown hero in Scotland.
Over and above, it is not like the Straight Edge Superstar is completely out of the picture for good. He made his presence felt at WrestleMania XL when he cashed his receipts against the Scottish Warrior. Furthermore, if Punk actually performs at Clash at the Castle, it is going to be the first time he competes in a WWE televised singles match in over a decade.
Besides, the former AEW Superstar is rumored to appear on this week’s SmackDown. His appearance right before the draft opens up the possibility of him moving on to Friday nights. However, the possibility is less. Moreover, if Punk is returning in the summer he might face McIntyre at SummerSlam this year, which is a long-rumored matchup since January.
CM Punk shared a major health update
CM Punk regularly updates his fans about his condition amid the injury hiatus. He recently shared yet another update on his Instagram story. It was a quick update, which made a lot of headlines around him on the internet. Fans looked impressed with this quick recovery of the Best in the World as the picture quickly went viral.
The Second City Saint shared a clip of himself performing triceps exercises. It was a clear sign that his tricep was better than before. To be precise, the muscles looked quite toned and even more jacked than before. It shows the extreme determination of the Straight Edge Superstar, who is on his way to return earlier than expected.
Although the former AEW World Champion is injured. His tricep looked quite fine when he used it on Raw a few weeks ago to cost Drew McIntyre. After this major update, the next big thing in WWE is certainly the comeback of the Best in the World. With so many dream matches left to be a part of in WWE, Punk seems to be becoming the best version of himself.
