Iyo Sky challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. During their match, the champion became the victim of a gruesome knee strike to her face. Members of the WWE Universe thought that she had broken her nose. However, thankfully, this is not the case.

According to a report by PWInsider, Morgan came out of her match unscathed and, thankfully, did not break her nose. However, this does not mean that she wasn’t in a lot of pain throughout the match. Shortly after taking the blow, the champion was seen bleeding from her nose. Furthermore, she kept tending to it throughout the match.

Throughout the match, the commentators also kept bringing up how the Queen of Extreme may be seriously injured. However, this did not hinder her fighting spirit. She eventually retained her championship after a clean victory against the Genius of the Sky.

Afterward, when Liv Morgan was walking off with Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio, the Women’s World Champion was visibly worn out. A hint of blood was also seeping out of her nose. However, she still stood face-to-face when confronted by Rhea Ripley and did not back down.

Liv Morgan sends one-word message to Rhea Ripley ahead of WWE Raw

After the events of Saturday Night’s Main Event, it is all but clear that Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will be rounding off their trilogy with yet another singles match between the two. The Eradicator had already managed to pin the champion at WarGames, likely earning her a title shot. As this rivalry continues, both superstars continue to take shots at each other on social media.

Rhea Ripley posted a selfie on Instagram, taking a shot at the Women’s World Champion in the caption. She called the 30-year-old jealous of her and said that it was only a matter of time before she was champion once again. Morgan commented on this post with a one-word response, “Nah.”

Many theories suggest that the final match of their trilogy is set to take place on the first episode of Raw on Netflix. The rivalry does not have enough fuel to last until WrestleMania, and WWE would want to wrap up this feud until the Royal Rumble.
