Marcelo Bielsa extends contract with Leeds United
Marcelo Bielsa Leeds Manager
The Argentine manager was expected to be snapped from services after his contract ended at the end of the championship. This was no new situation for Bielsa as he had a similar scenario in 2018-19 after the defeat to Derby. However, to everyone’s surprise, he renewed his contract for the next season.
Recently, the 65-year old manager once again repeated history by extending his contract for another 12 months. The team will be looking forward to bring glory in the guidance of their experienced gaffer.

Bielsa was also presented with the prestigious award of League Managers’ Association Manager of the Season. He acknowledged the achievement by saying, “First of all I wish to apologise for now delivering this message in English. Secondly, I would like to say thank you for this award. It’s of special importance to me because the votes were cast by the coaches in the league that Leeds have won.”
Bielsa expressed his shear love for the club and was excited to see how the overall season was going to be next summer.
