Marcus Rashford has been at the centre of attention ever since he made his senior debut for Manchester United. The 22 year old is one of the most important players for the Red Devils right now. Rashford had an amazing season last year as he managed to score 22 goals across all competitions for United.

Off the field too Rashford is known for his amazing character and the services he does. But the Englishman is also trolled for the same whenever he fails to perform. According to the study conducted by ESPN UK, Marcus Rashford tops the list of the Premier League’s most trolled players.

Rashford ahead of Raheem Sterling in the list of most trolled players

ESPN UK released a list of the most trolled players in the EPL in twitter.  This list was prepared by using the compiled data of negative tweets EPL footballers are subject to. Marcus Rashford topped the list of the most trolled Premier League players released by ESPN UK with 28.5% negative tweets against him.

Main reason for Sterling being trolled

Manchester City players Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus secured the second and third position in the list. Other players like Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Mesut Ozil, David Luiz and David de Gea were also a part of the list.

Twitter reacts to the list released by ESPN UK

Many people in twitter rubbished the list released by ESPN stating that this list is absolutely fake. Fans questioned how Rashford topped the list despite being good on and off the field. Apart from it the most important concern of the fans was the absence of Harry Maguire and Kepa.

While Manchester United fans were pointing out at the attacker’s charity works and claiming that he doesn’t deserve to be in the list rival fans pointed out that Rashford was in the list as he played for Manchester United.
