- Marshawn Lynch attended the Daytona 500, calling it one of the best parties he's ever experienced.
- He engaged with fans by handing out free beers while riding a cooler go-kart at the event.
- Lynch is set to appear in the third season of Euphoria, which premiered recently and drew 8.5 million viewers.
Marshawn Lynch has been quite busy since his retirement six seasons ago in 2019, finishing out in Seattle, where he won his first and only ring. The 39-year-old Californian has found his new career six hours away from his home in the boulevards of Hollywood.
In the newfound revelry and his superstardom in the football world, Lynch walked the celebrity path, attending one of the most glamorous events of the American sports culture, the Daytona 500, in February, alongside several A-listers and prominent NFL superstars.
Jon Gruden and Puka Nacua headlined the NFL presence, while Kurt Russell, Nate Bargatze, and Miranda Lambert were key highlights from the world of entertainment and buzz. Even Michael Jordan was in the house.
It was a mesmerizing evening with Tyler Reddick pulling a last-minute move to win his maiden Daytona 500. It was even more interesting behind the scenes, especially for Lynch, who was short of words to describe the wild party that unfolded in front of his eyes. Lynch said, via the Get Got Pod:
I just went and did some s*** that I never did before. I’ve been to many Super Bowls, but a NASCAR, Daytona 500? Oh, my motherf**ing God. That was, by far, probably one of the best parties I ever been to, and it was the race.

The former Super Bowl-winning running back channeled his famous “Beast Mode” energy at the event, going around the grounds in a cooler go-kart, handing free beers to the fans.
He was at the receiving end of a fanboy moment at the event, quite a funny one at that. Connor Zilisch, who’s competing in his debut season, rushed up to Lynch for a picture.
He recalled that he “walked up to Marshawn Lynch… I’m like, ‘Hey dude, can I get a picture? He’s like, ‘Yeah, bro.’ And he starts taking a picture of me. I was like, ‘No dude, can I get a picture with you?’” on Door Bumper Clear podcast. Zilisch finished 33rd, completing 195 laps, and scored 4 points.
Marshawn Lynch has some pretty wild events coming up in Euphoria
Marshawn Lynch has appeared in a couple of television shows, mostly as himself. In Westworld, Lynch appeared as “Giggles”, playing the role of a criminal-for-hire in three episodes. In Lopez vs Lopez, fans once again saw Lynch playing “Marshawn” in an episode that involved a Las Vegas Raiders game.

Lynch will now appear in Euphoria in its highly anticipated third season. The fans and people who have watched the show will know how dramatic it is, how crazy the scenes can be. In the new season, there’s a time jump of five years as the main protagonists have crossed the high school era of their lives.
Lynch, in an exclusive interview with the New York Post, said that he had some good fun shooting the show. Nevertheless, he admitted that he thought about whether he might be old enough to watch the show, poking fun at the graphic nature of the show.
He also addressed the typecast nature of his roles in different TV shows. Similar to his reel roles, Lynch has had trouble with the law, famously his DUI arrest in Vegas a couple of years ago. He told The New York Post in April 2026:
Let’s just say I had fun in that m*********er. I was trying to hold my own [and] trying not to be the m*********er that they’re waiting on to get your s— together. I wanted them to take me seriously … but at the same time, I still am who I am. So, you get a lot of that.
Euphoria S3 premiered last week with the episode, ‘Andale’, reportedly drawing 8.5 million viewers across the United States of America. The numbers, especially the 44% jump compared to the season two premiere, weren’t surprising, as fans were eager to see what Rue Bennett, Nate Jacobs, and the rest of the Eastdale gang ended up doing after their traumatic high school lives.
