Martin Odegaard says he ‘feels at home’ with Arsenal as the Gunners win 3-1 against Olympiacos
Martin Odegaard has expressed his delight after being able to contribute to Arsenal’s 3-1 win against Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa league on Thursday night. Mohammed Elneny, Gabriel and Odegaard saw out the first leg for Arsenal.

The Real Madrid loannee opened his goalscoring account for the Gunners in stunning fashion and says he ‘feels at home’ in the Emirates. After being excluded from the squad by Zinedine Zidane, Odegaard has found trust from Mikel Arteta.
Furthermore the Norwegian International has settled in better due to the healthy team atmosphere contrary to what he received at the Bernabeu. Odegaard is a great attacking youngster who can benefit Arsenal greatly.
However he was also quick to point out that the job is only half done yet and they must be ready to secure the tie. Given Arsenal’s record, they won’t be getting their spirits too high after the first leg.
It is a big win for us, a great result with three goals away from home and win in this competition is always good,” Odegaard said.
“The mentality in this team is great. Very pleased with everything. We showed the spirit in the team and the way we back each other. If one player makes a mistake then we react. That is what it is about, being a team. When one player makes a mistake you have to strike back as a team.
“I wanted to get a shot on goal, luckily I had a good hit and it went in. I have felt at home since the first day, I am happy to be here and feel great.
