Since Elon Musk‘s takeover of X, the new name he gave to Twitter, the criticism never stopped about how the billionaire has been using the platform for his own needs. Martina Navratilova has often slammed Musk and recently agreed with a user’s view when he questioned Musk about freedom of speech on the platform. 

The user feels Musk abuses free speech by promoting paid rightwing propaganda and by doing so, he has drowned out the truth. Navratilova is also of the same opinion as she expressed the same with a two-word response: “Exactly right.”

Navratilova did not stop there. In another post, she accused Musk of killing the ‘good’ things about Twitter.

Navratilova recently mocked the interview of Musk and former US President Donald Trump on X. She agreed to The Guardian’s article that called the meeting a dull one between “two planet-sized egos.”

About two weeks ago, Navratilova censured Musk for problems she encountered on X. She tagged the 53-year-old to let him know how he ‘messed up’ the platform. 

My mentions have been so effed up the last few weeks it’s ridiculous. Elon has messed up Twitter like I never thought possible. Mentions just keep disappearing many times during any given day. Thanks for nothing @elonmusk !

Martina Navratilova called Imane Khelif’s wins a travesty

Olympic champion Imane Khelif has been at the receiving end of those who believe she is a biological man. Martina Navratilova has often criticized the Algerian boxer and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for allowing Khelif and Lin Yu-ting to compete in women’s events at the Paris Olympics.

These two boxers allegedly failed gender tests last year as per the International Boxing Association’s (IBA) claims. Because of these, author JK Rowling took to X to slam those who support a “man beating woman in public.” She also slammed the IOC for allowing this to happen. Navratilova feels the people in power has made a mockery of the Olympics.

Exactly right. This is all on IOC and those in power who make the rules. It’s a travesty and makes a mockery of all Olympic sports.

Navratilova is an 18-time singles champion in Grand Slam events. Along with that, she also lifted 31 doubles and 10 mixed doubles major trophies.
