Tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg blasted former tennis player Martina Navratilova for her views on the trans community. Navratilova hit back, reiterating why she doesn’t want trans athletes’ involvement in female sports.

Rothenberg criticized the tennis great for agreeing to author J. K. Rowling’s views on the trans community. The 58-year-old author said that she won’t forgive Harry Potter stars Danielle Radcliffe and Emma Watson for speaking out against her on her stance on gender identity.

Rothenberg stated that he thinks Navratilova doesn’t stick to just sports and frequently insults other trans people, calling her a je*k in another tweet. But Navratilova, in response, blasted him for being “just another male” who tells the women what they should do and should not do as she again went to war on the microblogging platform.

I’m not even talking about any issue. Honestly, I’m talking about why you’ve become such a j*rk when discussing trans people, and why you spend so much of your time belittling others online. It’s just this constant nastiness and mocking that is deeply off-putting and cruel.

Navratilova said that being a male, he might be okay with naked females in the men’s locker room, but the women are not. She also called him clueless for not knowing what was happening around him.

OK- you can now eff off- I will not be called a j*rk by someone like you. Clearly, the Kill the TERFs mantra is OK with you-blocked

Rowling, once a beloved author, has now become a villain on X right from the time when she voiced her support for female rights and expressed that she is against the idea that trans women are women. In her recent tweet, she wrote she doesn’t want girls and women’s rights being “dismantled to accommodate trans-identified men“, who also have the advantages of speed and strength.

Seeing the tweet, Navratilova simply posted “Ha!” to support ‘The Cuckoo’s Calling’ writer.

Navratilova hung up her racket in 1994. In her illustrious career, she has won 18 Grand Slam singles, 31 doubles, and 10 mixed doubles titles.
