Tennis great Martina Navratilova recently criticized Fox News TV host and legal marijuana critic Laura Ingraham for doing the same “bulls**t” stories even as US President Joe Biden pardoned thousands of weed offenders in the country.
Ingraham is notorious for once suggesting that marijuana use was a greater problem than gun abuse in the United States and the two issues were co-related.
There are talks in the United States of further legalizing marijuana and a reformation in the law to ensure that possession of weed is no longer a crime. Some people are against the move but there is also plenty of support for such a revolution. However, 18-time Grand Slam champion Navratilova clearly seems to be in favor of the reformation considering the tweet below.

There have been many incidents that Navratilova has spoken up on. She is quite active as a social activist and the tennis legend often takes a stand against what she thinks is wrong. She is never shy of voicing her opinion and this has gained her a lot of respect amongst fans but naturally, it comes with a lot of backlash as well.
Recently, Navratilova took to Twitter to express her thoughts on an incident in India that involved the beating of a Muslim man on the streets. In the explicit video, the man can be seen tied to a pole and being beaten with sticks. The video caught Navratilova’s attention and she wrote, “In what world is this ever ok? In which century are we?!?“
A user on Twitter pointed out that these types of incidents are very normal in India to which Navratilova said, “That doesn’t make it ok.“
