Martina Navratilova is always pro-woman. From advocating for equal pay to opposing the participation of transgender athletes in women’s sports, the former tennis ace does it all. And when the former First Lady, Michelle Obama, gave a passionate speech about the need to care for women’s rights, especially mothers, Navratilova was bound to be moved.
She could not agree more with what Mrs. Obama said during her Michigan address. Mrs. Obama, at a rally in Michigan where she introduced Vice President Kamala Harris, issued an impassioned plea to American voters on Saturday — and, in particular, American men.
She, in her first appearance on the campaign trail during this election, described the far-reaching consequences of the 2022 Supreme Court decision overturning the constitutional right to abortion, in the concrete terms of personal tragedy. Mrs. Obama pointed out what could go wrong if the Republicans were brought back to power.
The passionate speech from the former First Lady touched everyone and appreciation posts on social media followed. Navratilova also shared her admiration for Mrs. Obama’s words as she shared a post on X, with a one-word caption.

Others also agreed with Navratilova as they hailed Mrs. Obama as the “best First Lady” the country ever had. However, a few also called her words emotionally manipulative.
Michelle Obama also takes jibe at Donald Trump
Apart from her passionate words about women’s abortion rights, Michelle Obama also took a jibe at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. She drew a comparison between what people expect from Kamala Harris and Trump.
Mrs. Obama claimed that the voters expect Harris to be intelligent, articulate, and aware of the policies. On the contrary, they do not expect anything from Trump.
The American presidential elections are just ten days away with the new President of the United States to be elected on 5th November, Tuesday.
