“How delusional,” Martina Navratilova slams Rep. Tony Gonzales for calling ‘richest man’ Elon Musk ‘prime minister’ and ‘voice of the people’

Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales compared Elon Musk to a prime minister and Martina Navratilova slammed him for his statements. On X, Navratilova laughed at the idea that the richest man could be the voice of the people.
Navratilova supports the Democrats and actively participated during the 2024 presidential elections. She criticized the Republicans and Donald Trump while Musk spent $277 million to support the President-elect. The 18-time Grand Slam singles champion is also worried about Musk’s influence in US politics.
On the other hand, Gonzales, who is a representative for Texas’s 23rd congressional district lauded Musk for openly supporting Trump in the elections and said the tech mogul’s ‘voice is a reflection of the voice of the people’.
It’s kind of interesting. We have a president, we have a vice president, we have a speaker. It feels like as if Elon Musk is our prime minister.
Tony Gonzales said during an interview on CBS News’ ‘Face the Nation’
Navratilova came across the video on X and she couldn’t believe what Gonzales stated. In one tweet, she called the entire thing ‘crap’ while in another tweet, she called Gonzales a delusional person.

Martina Navratilova backs JK Rowling’s statement on gay rights comment
Martina Navratilova has often backed Harry Potter author JK Rowling over belief on gender and s*x. Recently Rowling started a conversation on X when she shared a screenshot of a podcast.

When a user slammed Rowling and those who backed her views, Navratilova censured him calling him just another male who interferes in women’s business.

The 68-year-old also retweeted Rowling’s tweet where she wrote about how there has been a ‘vibe shift over gender ideology’ which is more about people of different genders doing what they want but also urged them not to ‘tell women what a woman is’.
