Martina Navratilova has once again warned about trans women invading spaces designated only for females. After a video of a ‘trans lesbian’ threatening everyone who is against them entering a women’s bathroom went viral on social media, Navratilova flagged the recurring issue.
In the video, a “40-year-old transgender lesbian” said that they dared anyone to stop them from entering women’s bathrooms. It caught the attention of quite a few social media users who flagged the problem with the movement.

Navratilova then reshared this video and gave her views on the matter. She reiterated her point about women feeling unsafe due to trans women entering into spaces designated only for females.

It is worth mentioning that Navratilova is not only against trans women invading female-only spaces but also taking away opportunities from female athletes. The former tennis star has openly opposed the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s sports.
Even during the 2024 Paris Olympics, Navratilova was leading the criticism against Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting for their inclusion in the women’s category despite reportedly failing the “eligibility criteria” following “gender testing” previously.
Martina Navratilova explains her paradoxical views about trans women
While Martina Navratilova has been pretty vocal about not including trans athletes in women’s sports, she is all up for civil rights for trans women. The former WTA icon often gets called out for her paradoxical views on the matter as Navratilova is a known pro-Democrat, a party that is labeled pro-trans.
This also leads to Navratilova getting called out for thrashing Republicans for their opposition to the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s sports. However, the 67-year-old clarified how her views on the matter differ from that of Republicans whom she called “anti-trans.”
Republicans are anti-trans. We are pro-women. There is a big difference. And Republicans are just using it as an excuse. And they say, “Oh look, we’re protecting women.” No, you’re not protecting women. You don’t give a damn about women. Look at Roe v. Wade. So don’t talk to me about women’s rights because you don’t care about that. You’re just against trans people because you don’t like them. Navratilova reiterated that she has no problems with trans people getting the same treatment as people from the other two genders. However, she is strictly against biological males competing in women’s sports.
