Mason Mount talks about his haters and critics

Chelsea attacking midfielder Mason Mount has opened up about how he’s taking criticism. Mason Mount was an integral part of Lampard’s team last season having started every Premier League game.

However this year with several new comers in the team, he’s been put under the radar. Mount has faced heavy criticism and backlash from fans saying Lampard prefers him more.

Mason Mount on criticism

“No, not at all. I’m a player that wants to do their best for the team and work hard. And maybe people take that the wrong way, I don’t know.

“You see comments here and there, but I’m not one to really look too much into social media and that side of it. I know it’s big in football now, especially when the fans are not at the stadium.

I think, obviously, a lot of people are on social media when watching the games or commenting on the games.

“It doesn’t really bother me too much. You have Instagram, Twitter, all this, but I’m not too big on doing stuff on social media. That’s just what I’ve been like, not just when I’ve come into the first team, but for a couple of years now.
