Former NBA champions Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson reveal their choice of team between Brooklyn Nets and LA Lakers

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving
Most of the NBA this season has been around who is a better team, Los Angeles Lakers or Brooklyn Nets? The defending champions Los Angeles Lakers have silenced all critics after they edged past the toughest team in the Eastern Conference, Brooklyn Nets. The Brooklyn Nets have assembled a super team. Other than the Big 3, they haven’t left an opportunity behind to gather the best they can. They also have been the fan favorite to win the championship. But given a chance, Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes reveal the team they would play for.
After a flurry of injuries, Lakers have been shorthanded for quite a long time. However, they managed to pace over the Brooklyn scare. After Dennis Schroder and Kyrie Irving were ejected for being continuously in a verbal fight, Nets could not come over their worse shooting form. While the chances grimed for Lakers on the other hand. Andre Drummond and Talen Horton-Tucker had double-doubles each. Ben McLemore’s cameo gave the boost in 4th quarter as the Nets were nearing. He had 5 straight triples to whiz the Lakers past Nets with 25-point victory.
Lakers or Nets? Which team will win it this season?
Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson recently revealed their choice of teams they would like to play for.
According to Stephen Jackson, “Nets. Easy. I’m good friends with Kyrie, and I’m more of a fan of KD than anybody. I love LeBron, I’d love to play with him. It’s hard to say not to play with him. But I have a relationship with those guys in Brooklyn, so I’m more of a loyal guy than a fan.”
But for Matt Barnes, “I would say Lakers. I’m a California guy, I got to run with Kobe and we didn’t get it done. I would love to run it back with LeBron and them and get a ring as a Laker.”
Both the Brooklyn Nets and LA Lakers have a potential strength to get the trophy this season. Nets are a much more hyped team. After being a hub of superstars a lot of fans have been attracted towards their versatile choice of players. While Lakers have been in a tough situation around their injury scare. Despite that they have somehow managed to be in the top 8. It is quite unpredictable which team can get their hands on the title this year.
