Max Holloway doubles down on his intentions to fight Conor McGregor as well as other top fighters. Holloway is currently sitting on many opportunities after his iconic win at UFC 300. The fighter has plans to have three belts under his name.

Max Holloway recently visited Joe Rogan on his podcast. During the conversation, the Hawaiian fighter talked about his perfect plan. Holloway talked about becoming the first fighter in the UFC to hold three belts. He told Rogan about the next steps to look for on such a quest. 

I would be stupid to not say to fight Conor. I think that Conor fight would be huge….In a perfect world to me, would be to fight Ilia, 45 title, get my hand raised, and whoever’s the next guy up at 55, fight them. Try and go for double champ status, whatever it is, or even three belts. Do 45, the BMF, and then put the BMF and the 55 against whoever at 55, and that’d be surreal.

The fight that has the potential to happen first is the featherweight title clash between Holloway and Ilia Topuria. Subsequently, ‘Blessed’ can then move up and challenge Islam Makhachev for the title. After that, McGregor, that might be a little far-fetched for the BMF title holder, but not impossible.

Conor McGregor is currently scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303. Moreover, he has shown interest in the BMF title. Holloway and the ‘Notorious’ have already fought once. However, in the first fight, the Hawaiian was outclassed by the Irishman. Ever since the first fight, both Holloway and McGregor have teased a rematch. If the stars align, the duo would likely compete again.

Max Holloway’s UFC 300 victory got the attention of many fans and experts. It is already considered one of the most iconic moments in the history of the promotion. Similarly, former UFC champion Michael Bisping shared his views on the options that opened up for Holloway after the fight.

Bisping talked about Holloway’s opportunity to fight for the lightweight title against Islam Makhachev. On top of it, the ‘Count’ mentioned the potential of Conor McGregor coming back and fighting Holloway for the BMF title. 

He has just knocked out Justin Gaethje, he is in a position to defend the BMF belt. He is in a position to challenge Islam Makhachev. (Holloway) is also in a position to get a rematch with Conor McGregor. Because Conor McGregor has a victory over him. Don’t tell me Conor McGregor is not looking at that BMF belt, we know Conor is coming back. There is a potential for that there. He has just flipped the script

Holloway has yet again proved that he’s a bankable superstar, and the promotion can rely on him to sell huge pay-per-views. With this, the UFC must have a grand plan to bring Holloway back into action with a bang regardless of whoever he faces.
